Urban Landscape

A watercolour from one of my pictures taken in 2004 while on a cycling trip in Mexico.  This view was from the street near the hotel where we stayed in Pátzcuaro.

An exercise in mixing greens, I did this watercolour from one of my travel photographs.

Deer Portraits

There have been lots of deer here lately so I have had the opportunity to do some deer portraits.

I did them from my photographs with watercolours and watercolour pencils

Colour Personified

Colour Personified is a needlefelted piece based on a watercolour (see post here) I did a while ago.

The curly bits are hand spun wool yarns I used to add more texture.

This piece, along with 2 others were in the OOTB‘s Colour Unboxed show at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum  that closed earlier this year.
